Terms of Use
Last updated: July 15, 2026
These are the ground rules for using Rem-ember. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. We have kept them short and readable.
Rem-ember is educational, not medical. Nothing on this site is medical, psychological, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Lucid dreaming and dream content are explored here for learning and curiosity. If you are dealing with chronic nightmares, sleep problems, trauma, or mental-health distress, please talk to a doctor or therapist. If you are in crisis in the US, call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline), any time.
Who can use Rem-ember
You need to be at least 16 years old to create an account. Your account is for you, one person. Keep your sign-in access to yourself.
Your content
Your dream journal is yours. It stays private, and you keep all rights to it. When you post publicly in the community forum, you keep ownership of what you write, but you give us permission to display it on the site so other members can read and reply. You are responsible for what you post.
Community rules
The forum only works if people are decent. Do not post any of the following:
- Harassment, hate, threats, or targeted cruelty toward anyone.
- Spam, scams, or relentless self-promotion.
- Illegal content, or content that violates someone else's rights.
- Sexually explicit material, or anything involving minors.
- Impersonation of other people or of Rem-ember.
- Medical, legal, or financial advice presented as fact or professional guidance.
We can remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. There is a report button on posts, use it, and we will look.
The service is provided as is
We work hard to keep Rem-ember running and useful, but we offer it "as is," without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free, or that any technique or content will produce a particular result. Dreaming is personal and unpredictable, and so is learning to lucid dream.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Rem-ember and its operators are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the site. Use it as the learning and journaling tool it is meant to be.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site grows. We will post changes here and update the date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
